Alyssa and Clayton had fun helping me make the pumpkin pies for Thanksgiving! We had friends over and made turkey apples. The kids had a blast!

WAY TO GO MARATHON MOM!

Just an hour after the race! We were getting all ready to get in the car and head home. We left the kids home with a babysitter! The kids made me a sign that was so cute!

This was my only stop to take off clothes that I had forgotten to take off. Most of the runners just shed off their clothes and threw them on the ground but these were way too expensive! This was half-way at mile 13! I didn't see Mitch again until the finish line!
I finally did it! It was a long race but the most awesome experience ever! It was emotional and at times I had a hard time even running but I didn't stop to walk and I didn't quit!

All ready to run!!! We are getting all ready to head out to the starting area!
This is the mass of people running! There were over 40,000 runners! The crowd really didn't break up any more than this! Where's Trish? Mitch caught me at the first mile marker! I am the one waving!

Eating some pasta the night before the marathon and making sure we had some good carbs going into the race! There with our friends who also ran the marathon with me. I was completely nervous at this point!

2006 Chicago Marathon!!

This is where we started. It was about a block away from the actual starting line! There was a ton of people! Walking to the starting line from our hotel! We were nervous and simply sick to our stomachs:) Great friends cheering us on!

We had a little business trip to Naples, Florida. We stayed at the Ritz Carlton and it was absolutely beautiful! Here is my version of business meetings! Doing nothing but relaxing at the beach and reading a book:)

First Day of School!!

Alyssa is now in 3rd grade, Clayton is in 1st grade, and Braden just started preschool!They are a very cute bunch of kids and love to learn!
