Christmas morning is here and the kids look a tad bit tired and annoyed with me making them line up in the hallway. Lant family tradition!! Mason is missing because he was still asleep and was up all night!!

Braden's preschool class did their rendition of the Gingerbread Man. Braden was the star of the show and he said the same line, "Run, run as fast as you can you can't catch me I'm the gingerbread man!" And then he would run around the room. It was cute!
Alyssa spent all day outside in the snow!
We didn't have a big hill outside so they found the icy frozen stairs to sled down. Ok, so it was kind of ghetto:)
The first snow of the year and probably the only! It was mostly freezing rain that turned into snow. Hard and crunchy:) Braden 3 yrs.

Just an hour after the race! We were getting all ready to get in the car and head home. We left the kids home with a babysitter!

This was my only stop to take off clothes that I had forgotten to take off. Most of the runners just shed off their clothes and threw them on the ground but these were way too expensive! This was half-way at mile 13! I didn't see Mitch again until the finish line!
I finally did it! It was a long race but the most awesome experience ever! It was emotional and at times I had a hard time even running but I didn't stop to walk and I didn't quit!

This is the mass of people running! There were over 40,000 runners! The crowd really didn't break up any more than this!

Eating some pasta the night before the marathon and making sure we had some good carbs going into the race! There with our friends who also ran the marathon with me. I was completely nervous at this point!
This is where we started. It was about a block away from the actual starting line! There was a ton of people!
